This space is diplomatic because of the way that it brings to the forefront components of buildings that are usually hidden. It treats space democratically though achieving a high degree of flexibility of interior spaces for exhibitions. It negotiates access to space and the resultant revealing of building components. In a way, it is open and honest, like a good diplomat.
